Spasmodic Torticollis
"Patient presented unable to look to the right side supine or prone. Parents reported she was unable to be in the car seat and look to the right. Mom reported struggling to feed at the breast when right side of the head was downward and sucking of air in while at the breast. Patient was unable to rotate the head passively and actively more than 40 degrees and cried when trying to engage further range of motion. Parents reported increased neck range of motion and decreased difficulty to feed after 2 weeks of chiropractic care. Patient was able to imitate rolling pattern and started rolling front to back and back to front by the end of treatment. Mom reported that she had less anxiety about feeding and baby sleeping in the crib at night because baby could roll to both sides equally. Mom reported time in the car seat was easier because baby was not crying the entire time. Parents were able to add developmental exercises at home and felt that the could continue to monitor milestones."
