    Frequently Asked Questions

    Is chiropractic care safe?

Yes, chiropractic care is widely recognized as one of the safest, drug-free, non-invasive therapies available for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints. While no healthcare treatment is completely free of potential adverse effects, the risks associated with chiropractic care are very small. Many patients feel immediate relief after treatment.

What should I bring to my first chiropractic appointment?

For your first visit, bring your ID, insurance card (if applicable), a list of current medications, and any relevant medical records or imaging studies (X-rays, MRIs). Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for movement. Arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete paperwork.

Does insurance cover chiropractic care in MD?

Many health insurance plans cover chiropractic care in MD, including most PPO and HMO plans. Medicare also covers chiropractic adjustments for spinal subluxation. Coverage varies by plan, so contact your insurance provider or the clinic directly to verify your specific benefits and any out-of-pocket costs.

How many chiropractic visits will I need?

The number of visits varies based on your specific condition, its severity, and your health goals. Acute conditions may resolve in 4-12 visits, while chronic issues may require longer care. Your chiropractor will develop a personalized treatment plan and discuss expected timelines during your initial consultation.

    About Patient Outcomes

This clinic hasn't yet submitted verified patient outcomes. Here's what outcome tracking means and why it matters.

    What Are Verified Patient Outcomes?

Verified patient outcomes go beyond traditional reviews. They represent documented, measurable improvements in patient health—such as percentage of pain reduction, degrees of mobility gained, or functional improvements in daily activities. These metrics provide objective evidence of treatment effectiveness.

    Pain Reduction

Measured improvement in pain levels using clinical scales

    Mobility Gains

Range of motion improvements documented over time

    Quality of Life

    Functional improvements in daily activities

    Why Outcome Tracking Matters

Evidence-based healthcare relies on measuring results. When chiropractors track and share patient outcomes, it benefits everyone:

    • Transparency: Patients can make informed decisions based on real data, not just testimonials.
    • Accountability: Clinics demonstrate their commitment to measurable results and continuous improvement.
    • Better Care: Tracking outcomes helps chiropractors refine their treatment approaches based on what works.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    What are verified patient outcomes?

Verified patient outcomes are documented results from real chiropractic care, including pain reduction percentages, mobility improvements, and functional gains. Unlike regular reviews, these outcomes are backed by clinical data collected during treatment.

    How are outcomes verified?

Outcomes are verified through a structured process that includes initial assessments, progress tracking during treatment, and final evaluations. This ensures the reported improvements are accurate and meaningful.

Why don't all clinics have outcomes listed?

Collecting and verifying patient outcomes requires a systematic approach to documentation. Clinics that participate in outcome tracking demonstrate a commitment to transparency and evidence-based care. This clinic may be new to our platform or in the process of building their outcome history.

Can I trust a clinic without listed outcomes?

Yes! Many excellent chiropractors are just beginning to document their results. The absence of listed outcomes doesn't reflect care quality—it simply means verified data isn't available yet. We encourage you to contact the clinic directly to learn about their approach and patient experiences.

I will begin this review by complimenting Dr. Lippy. He was knowledgeable and professional, providing helpful adjustments to my neck and back. Unfortunately that is where the compliments end. At my first visit I was told by the front desk that my insurance covered 100% of the costs and there were no limits on the number of visits. This was repeated to me by Dr. Lippy in my new patient consultation. With this information I readily scheduled a second appointment for later that week. My first appointment was on a Monday, my second on a Wednesday and I scheduled a third appointment for Friday, three appointments in one week. By luck I mentioned to a co-worker that I was going to a chiropractor and ironically so was he, he had gone to Advanced Correction. I shared with my co-worker that I was told our insurance covered everything, he confirmed that he was told the same thing. But he then received a bill for $30. After he told me this, I promptly cancelled my third appointment via email. When the front desk reached out, I further explained why I cancelled and they transferred me to Dr. Lippy. I explained to him that his front desk provided incorrect information, and that I was cancelling my appointment. I could not afford three charges of $30 each. Dr. Lippy was apologetic and indicated that he would follow up with his front desk. I have not heard back from him or his office. Since I had not heard back, I felt sure that his office had absorbed the charges. But I received a bill for $60 today, December 2nd, nearly three months after the appointment, 23 days before Christmas. Needless to say if you choose to use Advanced Correction Chiropractic be sure to follow up with your insurance. Advanced Correction provided incorrect information; if it wasn't for my coworker I would have incurred hundreds of dollars in charges. It is unfortunate that Advanced Correction didn't eat the charges out of courtesy because now they lost a potential customer.

The activator is really not good for me and when I came to my appointment to get some help the office was closed even after waiting 15 minutes.
