Rib Pain
1 Session
"A 46-year-old female presented with right-sided rib pain following a work-related injury, rated 8/10. Pain was sharp and aggravated by coughing, sneezing, deep breathing, and trunk movement, limiting work duties and daily activities. Examination revealed localized rib tenderness, intercostal hypertonicity, pain with thoracic rotation and deep inspiration, and segmental rib restriction without signs of fracture. She received a chiropractic adjustment to the affected rib and thoracic segments with manual therapy. Post-treatment, pain decreased from 8/10 to 3/10 with improved tolerance to deep breathing and movement."
