"Before I saw Dr. Porcher and his team, I saw a chiropractor who did a god job but only worked on my spine, and saw me for a few moments each time. Dr. Porcher’s approach is much more thorough, and his techniques are of the highest level. He got my left shoulder back to where I can use it normally without thinking twice about reaching up to put a vase away in the top cupboard, or to walk for miles with my sisters while on a trip or a cruise. I referred my sisters to Dr. Porcher and still trying to get my daughter to see him consistently."
Verified treatment outcome for Frozen Shoulder at Foundation Sport & Spine in Arlington Heights, IL.100% pain reduction, restored normal ROM, improved strength achieved over 10 weeks, 2 times per week. Diagnosis: M75.02 (Adhesive capsulitis of left shoulder). Treatment: When Sue first came to the office with this problem in her left shoulder, she thought that it was a rotator cuff, muscle injury. However, it became clear during her examination and muscle testing that she was experiencing a frozen shoulder. In the past, Sue had been treated for neck and upper back pain, and did not respond well to typical chiropractic adjustments, so I used a combination gentle arthrostim adjustments to her neck and back, Active Release Techniques (ART), muscle activation, massage therapy, cupping, and targeted rehabilitation with elastic bands geared towards strengthening and activating the specific muscles that tested weak. Susanne made a full recovery, never had her shoulder freeze all the way and lock down because we were able to catch it early and treat the shoulder capsule and the muscles effectively with active release techniques, etc.. Patient experience: A few months ago, my left shoulder started bothering me, and I thought that I had pulled something or had a problem with my rotator cuff. I went right to Dr. Porcher when my medical doctor recommende.

"A few months ago, my left shoulder started bothering me, and I thought that I had pulled something or had a problem with my rotator cuff. I went right to Dr. Porcher when my medical doctor recommended PT for it, because he and his team helped me so much with my neck in the past. You immediately figured out what was going on and was able to recommend a course of treatment to keep my shoulder from freezing completely. After four or five weeks (where I try to get to the office twice a week) the motion in my shoulder, started to come back. He and his team did a lot of muscle work, and the PT at his office helped me with strength. I didn’t realize how weak I had become in that shoulder! I always tell my friends and family about Dr. Porcher and a wonderful work he does."

"Patient reported not being able to sleep well because of pain waking her up, and could not sleep on her preferred left side. She also
couldn’t lift weights overhead or much at all in her upper body without a flare up. Now she is sleeping soundly in her preferred side, and only experiences an occasional pinch in the joint at end range, but the shoulder is thawing, ROM continues to improve close to 100% in all but internal rotation, which is typically last to improve and has already improved about 25% at our clinic during her treatment plan. She’s now having pain-free days, working out with weights again, and able to do tasks like getting dressed and washing her hair without even thinking twice about them."
