I tried a variety of things to get relief on my own without success. I’m a very active person and the pain was affecting my ability to exercise and sleep. I was only able to fall asleep when my body and mind were exhausted but I would wake up in the middle of the night crying in pain. I considered physical therapy but I had tried many stretching and strengthening exercises on my own with minimal improvement. I decided to try chiropractic care and was impressed with Within Chiropractic’s reviews and appreciated actually seeing Dr. Zach perform an adjustment on Facebook. I started with 2 adjustments a week and after my third visit I was able to fall asleep normally and stay asleep. After my third week of treatment, I no longer had any radiating pain. If you are considering medical or more invasive treatment for your pain, I strongly recommend you try chiropractic care first. I continue to receive maintenance adjustments and I’ve never felt better.
