Your first visit to a chiropractor typically includes a thorough health history review, physical examination, and discussion of your symptoms and health goals. The chiropractor may perform orthopedic and neurological tests to assess your condition.
Chiropractic care can help with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Common conditions treated by chiropractors include:
Yes, chiropractic care is widely recognized as one of the safest, drug-free, non-invasive therapies available for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints. While no healthcare treatment is completely free of potential adverse effects, the risks associated with chiropractic care are very small. Many patients feel immediate relief after treatment.
For your first visit, bring your ID, insurance card (if applicable), a list of current medications, and any relevant medical records or imaging studies (X-rays, MRIs). Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for movement. Arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete paperwork.
Many health insurance plans cover chiropractic care in OR, including most PPO and HMO plans. Medicare also covers chiropractic adjustments for spinal subluxation. Coverage varies by plan, so contact your insurance provider or the clinic directly to verify your specific benefits and any out-of-pocket costs.
The number of visits varies based on your specific condition, its severity, and your health goals. Acute conditions may resolve in 4-12 visits, while chronic issues may require longer care. Your chiropractor will develop a personalized treatment plan and discuss expected timelines during your initial consultation.

This clinic hasn't yet submitted verified patient outcomes. Here's what outcome tracking means and why it matters.
Verified patient outcomes go beyond traditional reviews. They represent documented, measurable improvements in patient health—such as percentage of pain reduction, degrees of mobility gained, or functional improvements in daily activities. These metrics provide objective evidence of treatment effectiveness.
Measured improvement in pain levels using clinical scales
Range of motion improvements documented over time
Functional improvements in daily activities
Evidence-based healthcare relies on measuring results. When chiropractors track and share patient outcomes, it benefits everyone:
Verified patient outcomes are documented results from real chiropractic care, including pain reduction percentages, mobility improvements, and functional gains. Unlike regular reviews, these outcomes are backed by clinical data collected during treatment.
Outcomes are verified through a structured process that includes initial assessments, progress tracking during treatment, and final evaluations. This ensures the reported improvements are accurate and meaningful.
Collecting and verifying patient outcomes requires a systematic approach to documentation. Clinics that participate in outcome tracking demonstrate a commitment to transparency and evidence-based care. This clinic may be new to our platform or in the process of building their outcome history.
Yes! Many excellent chiropractors are just beginning to document their results. The absence of listed outcomes doesn't reflect care quality—it simply means verified data isn't available yet. We encourage you to contact the clinic directly to learn about their approach and patient experiences.

Been periodically going here for years until a couple of months ago. Although I prefer to be in and out of these kind of things, Dr. W is WAY too rushed. In her rush, she dislocated my ribs from my sternum. When I screamed she said...

Instead of admitting they couldn't figure out the issue… words to patient, "it's all in your head," "it is just your age," and best of all when patient suggested a different treatment, "well good luck with that!" I call shenanigans.
