Chiro One Chiropractic & Wellness Center of Broad Ripple
Your first visit to a chiropractor typically includes a thorough health history review, physical examination, and discussion of your symptoms and health goals. The chiropractor may perform orthopedic and neurological tests to assess your condition.
Chiropractic care can help with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Chiro One Chiropractic & Wellness Center of Broad Ripple has documented outcomes for these conditions:
Yes, chiropractic care is widely recognized as one of the safest, drug-free, non-invasive therapies available for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints. While no healthcare treatment is completely free of potential adverse effects, the risks associated with chiropractic care are very small. Many patients feel immediate relief after treatment.
For your first visit, bring your ID, insurance card (if applicable), a list of current medications, and any relevant medical records or imaging studies (X-rays, MRIs). Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for movement. Arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete paperwork.
Many health insurance plans cover chiropractic care in Indiana, including most PPO and HMO plans. Medicare also covers chiropractic adjustments for spinal subluxation. Coverage varies by plan, so contact your insurance provider or the clinic directly to verify your specific benefits and any out-of-pocket costs.
The number of visits varies based on your specific condition, its severity, and your health goals. Acute conditions may resolve in 4-12 visits, while chronic issues may require longer care. Your chiropractor will develop a personalized treatment plan and discuss expected timelines during your initial consultation.
What patients are saying about their care
"Patient, an active runner, began chiropractic care in May for low back pain. Over the course of treatment through August, symptoms worsened with shooting pain extending from the back/hip into the inner thigh and over the kneecap. Patient reported temporary improvement during a week away from care in July, followed by worsening upon resuming treatment. Could barely walk at times and was unable to run normally for approximately 2 months. After discontinuing chiropractic care, a physical therapist evaluated and believed the original injury/nerves had been further inflamed. Patient has since partially improved with PT—walking without pain and working through a return-to-run program."

This place is clearly a scam. I had a "spine check" at a local home and garden show. I signed up for a $15 appointment with X-rays etc. and paid at the show. I read the fine print when I got home and realized this was only a consultation with no adjustments or anything like that, which is fine, just not what signed up for. I asked to cancel my appointment and for a refund yesterday and they said they have processed it and it will be back to me within 14 business days. Then they called later yesterday evening asking if I wanted to reschedule. Now, they called me today stating the last 4 digits of my card were wrong so they hadn't processed the refund. The numbers weren't wrong when they pulled the money from my account. All I want is my money back. If you see this company, RUN in the other direction. EDIT: I followed the instructions below from the practice TWICE and the patient advocate line never picked up. They hung up before I was able to speak to a real person. I called and spoke to an associate in the clinic who stated I should wait to hear from her, I haven't heard a word. At this point I will be moving forward with a fraud claim with my bank.
