I came to Dr. Wontaek' office after a long struggle with knee and hip pain and shortly after neck discomfort started. I was familiar with the NUCCA principles as I first started my treatment through atlas adjustment about 20 years ago. I know that this method is different from what other chiropractors offer, but I really liked it and it was very effective for me so I was thrilled to find dr. Wontaek through the online search. Of 3 NUCCA practitioners I worked with in the past Dr. Wontaek was the most personable and the most inquisitive. He paid attention to all the information I provided and integrated it into his treatment. Please make sure you share the details of your posture experience as my childhood diagnosis proved to be crucial to our success. Dr. Wontaek's approach is very natural and friendly, he listens to your words and befriends your body to arrive at the optimal treatment plan based on careful assessment and verification of the functioning of your body. The exercises that Dr. Wontaek introduced me to are really fun and I can tell the difference from how I was before the treatment and now. Highly recommend this young and charming professional.

Very helpful!!!!!! Dr.Hwang has preached just be patient and please if you have issues with confusion and aches go see this doctor!!!! Personally dealing with failed physical therapy unneeded dental procedures I felt hopeless and helpless and Dr.Hwang was able to help and show me how my body was fine but I was in fact dealing with an imbalance in my upper neck area which caused so much confusion and headaches and pain. Go see this doctor it helps!! Just be patient as it does help!!! We live in a world to have everything right away but getting healthy takes time just like working out. Dr.Hwang does help!!!!

I have been under the care of a Nucca chiropractor for many years. When I first heard about Nucca, I thought it was voodoo. There was no way I thought that this was going to solve any of my issues.Many years later I am here to say that I am a true believer in this type of care. I most recently moved back to the suburbs of Chicago and was fortunate to have found Dr Wontaek I must say that being under his care has been nothing but a positive experience for me. I believe I’m in a bit of a different situation than many patients might be. I do have something to compare it to. I find him to be extremely precise in his calculations and his findings. That is a huge comfort to me. As one’s body ages things to change. I believe he’s had some extensive training and goes above and beyond. He is very knowledgeable and has immersed himself in his profession. I had not seen a Nucca practitioner for about four months when I came to him. I was concerned at first because it took longer than it usually did for me to feel like my body was back where it should be but Dr Wontaek explained to me that sometimes this is the course and to be patient. We persevered and it turned out he was right my body just needed a little more time and a couple of more adjustments. In case you nothing about Nucca, you should know there’s no pain involved for the patient. There’s no cracking of your back. There’s nothing drastic being done to you as the patient. I feel that Dr Wontaek knows my case in detail and is always looking out for my best interest. I highly recommend you give his practice a try. You may be just as surprised as I was!

I currently live in Vegas, but I got a referral from my brother to visit Dr. Hwang 2 years ago when I visited here in Chicago. I got into a severe car accident long time ago that caused chronic neck and lower back pain that have never been resolved. I came back again 2 weeks ago and visited Dr. Hwang for a check up. His adjustment is so gentle that I barely felt anything, but I slept almost 14 hours straight on that day for the first time. My mid back and lower back pain felt much better now. It feels like his adjustment lasts for long and gradually getting better, and I hope it lasts. I’m planning to visit Dr. Hwang whenever I come by. Highly recommend him if you have lower back pain or leg pain.
