"Patient thought his life was going to be like this forever and he was scared and desperate. His mom had just met us at a local networking event and recommended her son try Chiropractic because they were getting no help from providers they had seen previously. One provider even told him that he was 'going to have to learn to live with this becaues this was going to be his new normal.' He was getting maybe 2 hours of a sleep a day (not continuous sleep, but all in total) and was starting to have suicidal thoughts because he couldn't handle being like this forever. After his first adjustment, he was able to sleep for 4 hours and by the end of the first week, he was back to school and able to sleep through the night without waking up. The hiccups weren't completely gone by the end of the first week, but they were tolerable and he was hopeful for the first time in weeks that his current state wasn't permanent. Fast forward to a month later and the hiccups were gone and life was normal."
