"The patient reported sharper pains that were worse in the morning. The patient reported that he was unable to stand for band practice and hold his 16 lb bass guitar for any length of time, he would have to sit during practice or gigs. After 4 weeks he was able to stand for the 1 and 1/2 hour practice sessions while taking three 10 minute breaks to sit down. After 8 weeks he was able to stand for the first hour, take a 10 minute break and stand for the next 30 minutes while playing his bass guitar. That is the first time he has been able to do this in 2 years."
