    Treatment Details

    Lauren was found to have suboccipital neuralgia caused by severe reverse curve in her cervical spine (neck) causing crowding of her occipital nerves and leading to moderate to severe tension headaches multiple days per week. She was treated with ART (Active Release Techniques), massage therapy, dry needling, cupping, 2 way cervical traction, and a specific rehabilitation program aimed at helping to improve the structural problems in her neck. Additionally, she was given a home traction device for her neck to use on a daily basis, and a small home exercise program for days she was not in the office. Lauren made a great recovery. She still has some structural derangements, headaches 1-2 times per week, but the intensity and frequency is approximately 80% better then before she started treatment at our office.
