It wasn't until halfway through college that I heard about or even knew what a chiropractor was. I worked in a chiropractic office during my last years at UC Irvine, and I saw firsthand many miracle stories — people who suffered with years of headaches, back pain, and more, no longer dealing with those issues after going to the chiropractor.
Learning how chiropractic is about allowing the human body — a self-healing organism — to function optimally was something I believe is a universal truth. I knew I wanted to become a chiropractor and help people in my community and city, people who, like me, were unaware of how chiropractic can change someone's life for the better. After graduating chiropractic college and working in an office in the SF Bay Area, I moved back to my hometown with the goal of helping people get back to doing the things they once took for granted.

I was recommended Best life by my husband when I hit chronic neck and shoulder pain and felt paralyzed on my right. The doc was really nice and did a quick up and scans and build a plan for recovery plan was ready to go by next day! I have made significant progress way much than I expected and I see why my husband loves the place as well, the doc is genuinely very talented and can pick on my problem spots which Im not even aware of! Symphony and Kay who help the doc are very good at running the administration as well as patient runs, as well as the sweetest people I have ever met vs the usual grumpy ones you meet around.. they are all rounder champs and My day is better everytime I meet them apart from my neck and shoulders saying me thanks!also the place is soooooo neat! Dr. Palmes is thorough. He looks at you, and begins to ask “Where do you have problems?” To be honest, I think he can already tactically feel where some issues are at, but likes to be assured with the patient’s input “how does it feel…here?” And sure enough, it hurts right where he touches, as he begins to work, not only on that spot, but also at the muscles and ligaments surrounding that point of pain, as he explains how tension or misalignments surrounding the point of pain is what causes the problem. After a few cracks and alignments I feel decompressed again.
