Growing up, he watched his mother struggle with asthma until chiropractic care helped her breathe and function better. That experience, combined with his own care as a child, planted a seed that never stopped growing. “I always wanted to become a chiropractor. Having grown up knowing what it did for my mom and being cared for myself, it gave me the desire to help others the way I was helped.” Dr. Gary earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University, where the influence of Dr. Joe Cipriano, D.C., shaped his approach to patient care. In January 1998, Dr. Gary opened the doors of Davis Chiropractic Center in Peachtree City, and he has been serving the community ever since. Dr. Gary believes that taking care of your health only becomes more important with time. Eating well, staying active, and getting proper rest are values he lives by outside the office too. When he’s not with patients, you might find him camping, following auto racing, traveling, cooking, or working in the yard.
He and his wife Shelly have been married for 34 years and have four grown children: Preston, Kamryn, Pierce, and Parker Palmer. He’s also the proud grandfather of Chaseleigh and the devoted owner of three dogs, Bo, Duke, and Daisy.

Dr. Preston has wanted to be a chiropractor since he was 3 years old. He grew up watching his dad, Dr. Gary, care for patients, and that early exposure turned into a calling that never let go. Some patients at Davis Chiropractic Center have known Dr. Preston since before he was born. Now he gets to practice alongside his father and see for himself what drew him to this work in the first place. Dr. Preston earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. While there, he was mentored by Dr. Morgan, one of the founders of Life University, who passed along decades of hands-on wisdom. Learning from an “old-school” chiropractor stuck with him. He still applies those lessons in practice today. New patients quickly notice that Dr. Preston isn’t interested in a quick fix. He wants to find out what’s actually causing the problem, not just treat imaging or symptoms in isolation. That means listening first, then treating the whole patient. He’s especially passionate about helping people understand what’s going on in their own bodies and how they can get back to doing better. “It is pretty cool to see patients get immediate relief when they come in and leave.” Over the years, Dr. Preston has also come to appreciate that while health care continues to evolve, sticking to tried-and-true chiropractic fundamentals remains one of the best ways to help patients get back to doing what they love.
Dr. Preston and his wife, Kamryn, have been married for almost two years. They have a daughter and a dog, and they’ve settled into the active, family-friendly pace of life that Peachtree City offers. Golf cart rides are a family favorite, and every once in a while they’ll swing by the office between patients just to say hi. When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Preston is usually playing flag football or basketball, getting a workout in, or watching NASCAR. He also enjoys camping at the racetrack.
