Dr. Erik Simms was born in St. Louis, MO and grew up in a small town, much like Walton, KY. An avid wrestler in high school and college, a shoulder injury ended his athletic career — but exposed him to the power of chiropractic care, both through his father and his own recovery. He pursued his Doctor of Chiropractic at Logan University of Chiropractic, then relocated to northern Kentucky in 2011. In 2014 he opened his first practice in Union, KY, expanded to Richwood, and in July 2017 moved into the current Walton, KY location — a larger space that houses on-site X-Ray, expanded adjusting and stretching rooms, multiple massage therapists, and his sister venture Triple Crown Health Solutions. Outside the clinic, Dr. Erik is a competitive power lifter who currently holds the Kentucky bench-press and total-weight-lift records for his age group and weight class — practicing what he preaches when it comes to strength, recovery, and lifelong health.
