Originally from Bessemer City, NC, he graduated from North Gaston High School in 1998 before earning a B.S. in Biology from Lenoir-Rhyne College. After a chance injury introduced him to chiropractic care, he attended Logan University in St. Louis, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic, an additional B.S. in Human Biology, and acupuncture training — and met his future wife and practice partner, Dr. Katherine Hoffman. Drs. Hoffman practiced for 6 years in Charlotte under (dec) Dr. Fletcher Keith, D.C. at Keith Clinic of Chiropractic. In 2011, they purchased Southeast Chiropractic: The Motion Centers and later renamed it Southeast Family Chiropractic to reflect their shared passion for family and wellness care. Dr. Crown provides traditional chiropractic care, acupuncture, cold laser therapy, VA chiropractic care, personal injury care, prenatal chiropractic (Webster Certified), and DOT exams. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Katherine "Kate" Hoffman has been practicing in the Charlotte area since 2006 and is the Co-Founder of Southeast Family Chiropractic. She has an extensive background in pediatric and prenatal chiropractic care. Dr. Kate trained with the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association) and earned her Webster Certification in 2013. She also holds certification through the Peak Potential Institute, completing the SOT Pediatric Certificate Program, and continues her studies as an active member. Her advanced training includes extensive work with SOTO-USA and the Peak Potential Institute, focusing on cranial adjusting and pediatrics. She has also studied Craniosacral Therapy under Sheryl McGavin OTL, CST. Dr. Kate earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic, where she also completed over 100 hours in Sports Injuries and Physical Fitness, after earlier studies at Southwest Illinois College. Drs. Hoffman practiced for 6 years in Charlotte at Keith Clinic of Chiropractic before purchasing Southeast Chiropractic in 2011 and renaming it Southeast Family Chiropractic to reflect their shared passion for family wellness care. Amazing place, staff, experience. Dr Hoffman is wonderful and explains everything. His staff is so nice and inviting. The atmosphere is welcoming, but the best part is how they make you feel better. My husband had chronic back pain that is gone only after a short time. I love this place.

I started going to Dr Hoffman when my back went out and I could barely walk. He was so thorough in his explanation of the issue and the treatments have done wonders! His staff is amazing. Such sweet ladies that truly care!

Love Dr Crown and his staff! I have always walked in and went almost immediately straight back and never left hurting. He's very thorough and makes sure you are comfortable and always puts in 100 percent of his knowledge for chiropractic treatment and care. Would recommend him to anyone I know.
