He graduated with honors in 2001 and earned his Bachelor of Education in Exercise Science from The Ohio State University in 2006. Before chiropractic school, he worked as a Chiropractic Tech and Personal/Group Fitness Trainer. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2011 after three years of rigorous study. During his time at Palmer, he served as an Ambassador for the Center for Business Development.
