Dr. Mitch Quill is the founder of Bolingbrook Family Chiropractic and brings a lifelong athlete's perspective to every patient he sees. A 4-sport high school athlete who went on to play college football, Dr. Quill personally experienced both a back injury and a hip injury during his playing years — injuries that were resolved through chiropractic care. That firsthand experience of healing without surgery or long-term medication became the foundation of his calling.\n\nHe attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he joined the rugby team and used his teammates as a real-world lab — adjusting fellow athletes before and after practices and games. That environment sharpened his hands-on skill with active bodies and sparked a lasting passion for working with athletes of every level, from youth sports parents to weekend warriors to competitive lifters.\n\nTo expand what he could offer active patients, Dr. Quill went on to obtain an acupuncture certification and became a Level 1 CrossFit Trainer, giving him a rare, integrated understanding of the joint, the nervous system, and the movement patterns that produce (or prevent) injury.\n\nHe also completed an internship in the rehabilitation department at a Veterans Affairs hospital in Texas, working directly with injured veterans on recovery, mobility, and return-to-function care. Dr. Bandemer was homegrown in Plainfield and Bolingbrook and spent her active childhood playing outside with friends, riding bikes, and making up games with her neighborhood friends. She loved babysitting and always had an affection for caring for friends and family. Her interest in working in health care was sparked in high school anatomy and biology classes, where she thought she might become a pediatrician.
She continued to pursue sports, playing rugby and volleyball for Plainfield Rugby, and participating in weightlifting and CrossFit. Dr. Bandemer continued her education at Augustana College where she studied Biology and Spanish with the intention of becoming a nurse. While working as a CNA she began playing rugby for Palmer College of Chiropractic and quickly realized she had found her passion — she gravitated toward the idea of providing proactive care to support whole-body healing and optimal function instead of quick-paced, reactive medicine.
Her rugby career flourished at Palmer, where she served as team captain, President, and Coach of the Palmer Rugby team, and her team won two Midwest Championships. Dr. Bandemer also had her son while attending chiropractic school, which ignited a passion for working with prenatal and pediatric populations. As the second oldest of 10 children, Dr. Kevin Goyke grew up in a very active household. While he enjoyed participating in different sports throughout his childhood, his favorite thing was to be outside playing catch with his Dad. From him he developed a love of baseball and a strong work ethic at a young age — from paper routes and mowing lawns at 9, to the doctor he is today.
With a background in computer science, Dr. Goyke initially moved to San Francisco to work as a systems analyst at Lockheed. It was his passion for fitness and body building that led him to become a chiropractor after finding relief from a training injury through chiropractic adjustments. He went on to graduate Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic – West in 1994.
Wanting to be closer to family, Dr. Goyke returned to Illinois, ran a clinic in Wheaton for two years, then opened Goyke Health Center in Aurora in 1997. After 18 successful years he moved his office to Geneva. In 2022, after 26 years of owning his own practice and sending his youngest son off to college, he sold his business to focus fully on what he loves most — being a doctor and treating patients — which is what brought him to Bolingbrook Family Chiropractic.
With his free time, Dr. Goyke enjoys traveling with his wife Susan and visiting his kids: Ian at Valparaiso University, Kaley in Denver, and Cody in Seattle.

Patient was able to imitate rolling pattern and started rolling front to back and back to front by the end of treatment. Mom reported that she had less anxiety about feeding and baby sleeping in the crib at night because baby could roll to both sides equally. Mom reported time in the car seat was easier because baby was not crying the entire time. I definitely would recommend if you're having pain or feeling uncomfortable to go see Dr. Goyke. He really reassured me that my pain would get better and it did! I used to be uncomfortable every day having shoulder and back pain and now I feel way better.
