Diagnosis: M51.17 (Intervertebral disc disorders with radiculopathy, lumbosacral region). Additional benefits: Improved sleep, Better posture. Treatment: Puneeth was one of the most severe cases of Lower back pain with nerve involvement all the way down to his right foot that we have seen in our clinic. His first several trips to the office he stated he needed to lie down in the back of the car in order to travel. Pain was severe and treatment was at first difficult. We focused on using McKenzie-style end range loading exercises, flexion distraction technique, and Active release techniques. Over time, we added muscle activation procedures (RPR, NKT) and were able to eventually get him performing rehabilitation for the last two months of his care. His improvements were very slow and gradual at first, but he was set on avoiding surgery and injections. He did not show very much improvement until approximately 4 weeks into his treatment plan, and didn’t start making strides until the last month of care. He said he was almost at 90% improved when we finished his initial 45 visit treatment plan, and he continued with maintenance care for the next 2 years until moving back to India with his family.. Patient experience: I’m grateful for Dr. Porcher, he helped me to get my back almost to 100% and prevent surgery. I’m able to enjoy time and exercise with my wife and son so much more. I no longer have problems sitting.

Verified treatment outcome for Chronic lower back pain, Foot pain at Foundation Sport & Spine in Arlington Heights, IL.80% pain reduction, able to play basketball without pain or pain the next morning after, improved sleep achieved over 8 weeks, 3 days per week. Diagnosis: M54.5 (Low back pain). Additional benefits: Improved sleep quality, No more foot pain, Better posture, Better immune health/fewer illnesses. Treatment: Krys presented with an acute exacerbation of lower back pain, which he had chronically for the past few years. He says that he had problems with playing basketball and then would be worse the day after he played. Spinal Xrays showed subluxation (joint restriction) with a motion study, and we also saw heavy posterior weight-bearing on the joints in the back side of his vertebrae in the lower back, as well as posterior thoracic translation and "sway back." We used corrective chiropractic care including CBP mirror image traction to help improve movement in his TL junction as well as the structural posture of his spine. He also was treated with dry needling, Active Release Techniques (ART), muscle activation (was very weak in the front line--lower abdominals and hip flexors), as well as postural rehabilitation. Krys reported at least an 85-90% improvement. Patient experience: When I started seeing Dr. P, my lower back would be so stiff and painful when I woke up in the morning and no amount of stretching was helping me. I even looked up exercises to do online for my lower.

"When I started seeing Dr. P, my lower back would be so stiff and painful when I woke up in the morning and no amount of stretching was helping me. I even looked up exercises to do online for my lower back and nothing helped. Quickly, after starting treatment, my sleep quality improved and I was able to get up in the morning and it wouldn't take me even half the time to warm my back up and start to have it loosen up. Dr. Porcher and his team are very talented and thorough, and they did a great job taking me from where I was when I started at the beginning and in a lot of pain, all the way to the point where I was gaining balance, strength, and the ability to push my body in my workouts and with my weekly basketball league. I still see Dr. P and Bre for monthly maintenance because I don't ever want to feel the way I used to."
Verified treatment outcome for Chronic lower back pain at Foundation Sport & Spine in Arlington Heights, IL.75-80% pain reduction achieved over 4 months, 2-3x week with continuing bi-monthly maintenance care. Diagnosis: M54.17 (Radiculopathy, lumbosacral region). Additional benefits: Improved sleep, less anxiety about my lower back, more explosive running/kicking a ball. Treatment: Lily came to us, having had several months of regular chiropractic adjustments at another clinic, and having little relief, or relief that lasted for a day or two. We performed a bio mechanical analysis of her x-rays as well as spinal posture analysis compared to a normal model, and found that she had improper movement as well as curvature in both her neck and lower back, both of which were causing her to load weight onto the posterior structures/joints of her spine excessively. She was treated with flexion distraction, mirror image adjusting (chiropractic biophysics) based on her x-rays, spinal, remodeling, traction, Active Release Techniques (ART) to hip muscles, quads, and glutes that were all causing weakness of her upper hamstrings, and adductors, as well as shockwave therapy. Additionally, she was brought through an increasingly difficult “performance” rehab program that was designed to first correct the specific dysfunctions she tested for, and then to challenge her as a high-end high school athlete. Accessory treatments like cupping and therapeutic massage were also helpful for her. She still feels mild achy pain in her lower back when she is playing the whole half or entire game for her soccer team, but no longer needs to be subbed off due to pain and inability to continue and reports feeling 80-85% better. Her follow up X-rays demonstrated mild curve correction as well great biomechanical improvements, and despite a monthly maintenance recommendation she continues to want to see us every 2 weeks since soccer is year-round and she is also in gymnastics.. Patient experience: For at least a year, my lower back hurt me so bad when I was playing soccer or doing gymnastics that I would almost always have to signal to my coach to pull me off the field after maybe 10 or 15 minu.

"For at least a year, my lower back hurt me so bad when I was playing soccer or doing gymnastics that I would almost always have to signal to my coach to pull me off the field after maybe 10 or 15 minutes of being out there. It made me want to cry because I was training so hard and doing everything I could to get better, but I was stuck. My parents took me to their chiropractor which helped a little bit, but then one of my teammates recommended. I see Dr. Porcher and his team. Their approach was so different than what I had had in the past, and they seem to cover so many different areas of problems that I didn’t even know I had. The deep stretching/ART, muscle activation, massage, and the shockwave I feel made the biggest difference for me. No I’m able to play a whole game if I want to, with only a little bit of pain in my lower back. They also really helped me with shin splints which I thought I would always have, but don’t feel anymore. Dr. P and his team are the BEST for athletes!"

"My back was hurting so bad every time I would sprint or try to do anything requiring agility/changing directions while I was at football practice. It looked like I was going to miss my season again this year. I had two ACL tears over the last two years, and I was finally healthy with my knees before starting this season. Then the back problem started in August, and I felt crushed. I heard about Dr. Porcher from some of my teammates, and when I started seeing him, I started to feel better right away. By the third week of treatment, I was able to practice at 100%, and able to hit guys as hard as I wanted to in games as a linebacker. Somehow, through treatment, he was able to make all the muscles around my knees, feel much stronger and more explosive also. I’m so grateful for Dr. Porcher, Bre, Nick, and the rest of his team. If you’re having any sort of back problems, this is the place to be. They gave me my football season back."
